NORTHERN INLAND CENTRE OF SPORTING EXCELLENCE TO OPEN OCTOBER 12

A date has been officially announced for the opening of Tamworth’s brand-new $17-million sporting precinct.

The Northern Inland Centre of Sporting Excellence will open its doors to the public on October 12.

It will boast a modern athletics track, velodrome and playing fields as well as extensions to the existing AELEC events centre.

“The kids can bring their bikes and scooters and experience some of the thrills of the facility and we’ll have food and fun for all until 4pm in the afternoon.”
