GUNNEDAH AIRLINE HOPES

Gunnedah mayor, Adam Marshall, says the 30-year lease of the local airport – to make way for a flying academy – won’t jeopardise any future plans to secure an airline for the town.

In fact, council is hoping to link up with the Narrabri-to-Sydney route, which recently closed to tender.
