Two men have been charged over a brazen daylight robbery in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Belmont on Monday.
Officers raided a property at Windale at around 6 o’clock in the evening, when they arrested two men, who were found hiding in the roof of the Kambora Close home.
Both were charged with a number of offences including aggravated break enter and steal in company, while a number of items believed to have been stolen were located inside.
Police will allege the pair had earlier that day forced their way into a Belmont home, stealing jewellery and passports before fleeing in a Toyota Corolla.
