Hunter bullrider Cliff Richardson is hoping his home crowd will help him across the line, at the PBR Newcastle Invitational.
The Entertainment Centre was transformed into a rodeo ring on Friday, with thousands of fans expected to attend the sold-out event tomorrow night.
The event attracts top international riders, including Brazilian star Rubens Barbosa.
