Two men are lucky to be alive after being involved in a head on crash north of Port Macquarie.
Emergency services were called to Reid’s Road at Telegraph Point just after 10:40am to find two vehicles severely damaged.
The male drivers, the sole occupants of the vehicles, sustained serious injuries to their lower bodies and ribs.
Both men have been transported to Port Macquarie Hospital.
The crash investigation unit is on its way to the scene, with the road predicted to be closed for several hours.
