TWO MEN CHARGED AFTER TAMWORTH PUB ROBBERY LAST YEAR

Two men have been charged with holding up a Tamworth pub last year, armed with knives.

The men allegedly entered the pub on Gunnedah Road just before 8.30pm on October 1 last year, threatening staff and fleeing with cash.

A 22-year-old Glen Innes man was arrested yesterday, charged with armed robbery.

A second man was arrested in Newcastle.
