COLDEST WEATHER OF THE YEAR ON ITS WAY

The strongest coldest front of the season is moving across the Bight, to deliver the chilliest weekend we’ve experienced since last winter.

A late season tropical strom in the Arafura Sea will also contribute to our temperature drop, with the New South Wales ranges to get some snow.

Tomorrow’s low in the south-east will quickly cross Victoria, before triggering more showers, storms and snow for higher elevated areas in New South Wales. Winds will also increase along with the cloud cover.

Coastal showers will return for north-east New South Wales and south-east Queensland on Sunday.
