Singleton mother dies after tragic fall in Thailand

A Singleton mother of three has died suddenly weeks after being medically evacuated from Thailand following a fall.

Kylee Enwright had been making a steady recovery in hospital and was relearning to walk and talk when she unexpectedly suffered a second catastrophic brain bleed on Sunday.

Her husband Paul has released a statement confirming “with the greatest sadness and heaviest heart” that his wife passed away on Tuesday morning.

A “one-of-a-kind” wife and mother from Singleton in the NSW Hunter Valley, Enwright had been holidaying in Thailand with husband Paul at the time of the accident.

The couple were drinking at their hotel’s pool bar on May 28 when Enwright left to visit the bathroom.

On her way back, she fell off of a retaining wall into a pit of “nothingness” which knocked her unconscious, according to her husband.

In a tribute posted on Facebook, Paul described Kylee as a “one-of-a-kind” wife, mother and grandmother.

“Until this point Kylee had been making amazing progress from her initial brain injury,” he wrote.

“Kylee was one of the kindest, most generous people I have had the privilege to know.”

The family now plans to donate Enwright’s organs as a reflection of her “selflessness and generosity”.

“There will be up to eight people that will receive a second chance at life and her spirit will live on a while longer through them,” Paul said.
