It’s been less than a week since the Terrigal community ran a forum to address poor water quality at its popular beach.

On Tuesday, the state government pledged to investigate the problem if it retains power at the March state election.

  1. This is a serious health issue and should be addresses immedialtly a not subject to an election result. How serious are our politicians in wanting to fix the problem? It will cost alot more than $500,000 if the problem is the storm water outlets and the Terrigal lagoon.
    The Central Coast economy benefits by $230m annually by over $2m people wanting to visit the beach. This is at risk if visitors decide to go elsewhere.

    The Govt spends $1b on a new stadium. How many EXTRA people and $ are they hoping to attract.
