A Port Macquarie building company has won the contract to construct the first stage of the $100-million Sovereign Hills town centre.
At the end of a highly competitive process, Commercial Project Group was awarded the tender.
“We’ve been tracking the project for about 10 years since we built the adjacent St Josephs Regional Campus and we’re very excited to be invited to tender on the project and even more excited to be awarded the project recently” – Chris Walsh – Commercial Project Group Director
The project will create employment for 200 people, mostly local, during construction.
Work begins on Friday.
