Two teenagers have faced court, charged with stealing a car at knifepoint in Queensland, and failing to stop for police near Glen Innes.
Local police were alerted after receiving reports of stolen fuel.
At around 10:30 last night, a pursuit began on the New England Highway, with road spikes deployed to stop the stolen vehicle.
A 16-year-old driver has been granted a 12-month good behaviour bond, while a 15-year-old passenger was released on probation.
