Work on a $1-million footbridge at Port Macquarie’s Kooloonbung Creek has been completed just in time for Christmas.
The cable-stay bridge extends from Hollingsworth Street to the carpark opposite, improving access to the foreshore, and pedestrian safety.
It’s part of council’s Town Centre Master Plan, and was funded through the former federal Labor Government’s Regional Communities Initiative.
