Police have begun inquiries after a 19-year-old woman was indecently assaulted in Newcastle, earlier this week.
The woman was walking along Hunter Street with friends on Monday night at about 10.30pm. She became separated from them and was approached by three men.
One of the men assaulted her, before the woman’s friends returned and the men left the scene.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the vicinity of of Hunter and Steels Streets at the time.
