POLICE TARGET TRAIL BIKES

Central Hunter police are cracking down on illegal trail bike riding, after receiving a high number of complaints from the public.
They’re conducting an operation that uses video footage to identify offenders, eliminating the need for dangerous high-speed chases.
Maybe there should be more (or any at all) money spent on providing managed areas to ride along with a code of conduct or education program for riders. Agreed there are a lot of troublemakers out there making creating the problem however just slapping a fine on legitimate people isn’t going to make the problem go away.
I race NSW and National Enduro and the most frustrating part for me is the complete lack of public land to train on to better myself in this sport. Almost 100% of enduro racers out there have all learnt to ride on illegal land because our government will not invest in this growing sport. We are all happy to praise the next national or world champion (and yes a number of them have come from the the hunter) however the reality of where and how they got there is taboo
Other countries have sorted this out along time ago however we seem to be very lazy in looking for a long term solution.
