A woman has been flown to John Hunter Hospital after becoming trapped under a bus at Anna Bay, north of Newcastle.
The 54 year old pedestrian suffered serious injuries to her lower body when she was hit on Gan Gan Road just after 4pm.
She was airlifted to hospital after being freed by rescue teams… and is understood to be in a stable condition.
