WEATHER UPDATE – THE SUMMER LIKE HEAT RETURNS

The mercury has quickly bounced back to the high 20s and low 30s across the region thanks to another burst of hot North West winds tapping into the hot build up over the nations interior.

On Wednesday a southerly is going cool things back down for the Hunter and Mid North Coast, showers will be very limited only a few small patchy falls expected.

The change will continue to track further north overnight reaching South East QLD Thursday morning but by the time it gets there most of its energy will be absorbed making it a very weak change.

The southerly isn’t strong enough to clear the heat from the North West so inland it is going to remain very hot for the rest of the week and across the weekend.

Over all it is a predominantly warm to dry run for the next week with very small waves for surfers.
