The Hemp Party are hoping to win a seat in the Senate, announcing Nimbin’s Michael Baulderstone will run in Western Australia in the upcoming federal election.
The party says if he’s elected, the long-time campaigner would pressure the major parties to legalise the use of marijuana.
The party recently announced it’s formed a coalition with the Australian Sex Party, with the pair to run on a joint ticket in Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania and South Australia.
