Police have launched a critical investigation after a 51-year-old motorcyclist was killed after hitting a cow and being thrown into a police car, in the state’s north west.
At about 12.20am this morning police were called to Casino Coraki Road in Casino to assist with cattle on the roadway.
Police say the rider hit a stray cow and was thrown from his bike hitting a police vehicle.
Those on scene attempted first aid before paramedics arrived, but he wasn’t able to be revived.
