An inquiry has returned an open finding into a fire at a South Lismore motorcycle shop two years ago, which caused $1-million worth of damage.
The Coroner, Jeff Linden, found that the fire at Dirt Squirt Motorcyles was due to causes unknown.
Police, the fire service, the business owner, staff and a security guard all gave evidence at the hearing.
Rubber and oil fuelled the flames and all but destroyed the business on Three Chain Road in March 2008.
