A 23-year-old man is facing a string of charges following the discovery of a clandestine drug lab at Nelson Bay.
Police say they attended a home last Friday to investigate a domestic dispute, when they allegedly found chemicals and equipment used to manufacture illegal drugs.
It’s also alleged officers seized several items associated with the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang.
The man was refused bail in Raymond Terrace Local Court and is due to reappear at Newcastle on December 3.
