RESIDENTS LYING ON DRIVEWAY MINUTES BEFORE A CAR CAREERED INTO THE GARAGE

It’s been revealed that a car crash in Newcastle last night could have been far worse, with residents of home revealing they were lying on a driveway just minutes before a vehicle careered into the property, hitting the garage.

The accident happened at about six o’clock, following a collision at a nearby intersection.

The 65-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was taken to John Hunter Hospital suffering chest injuries.
