A Moree farmer will stand trial for the murder of an environmental officer in July last year.
It’s alleged Ian Robert Turnbull shot Glen Turner in the back, as Mr Turner inspected Turnbull’s property at Croppa Creek near Moree.
The Crown alleges Turnbull had been involved in a long running dispute with Mr Turner over the clearing of vegetation.
Turnbull will next appear in the Supreme Court in Sydney in November.
