A former Armidale teacher has been charged over the alleged indecent assault of 18 children in the 1970s.
The 71-year-old man was charged at Armidale police station last night, with 33 counts of indecent assault on a male.
It’s alleged the 18 children, who were students at Ben Venue Public School, were assaulted between 1970 and 1974.
He was granted bail and will re-appear in court in July.
