Newcastle now holds the official Guinness World Record for the longest line of surfboards.
Today’s record of 608 boards at Nobbys Beach, smashes the previous amount of 398, set in South Australia in 2013.
The event is part 30th anniversary celebrations for Surfest, which is currently underway.
