POLICE SEARCH FOR TWO MEN FOLLOWING COFFS HARBOUR ARMED ROBBERY

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Coffs Harbour yesterday.

Two men entered a Park Beach Road pharmacy at around 1:30pm.

They approached the two attendants at the counter, threatening them with a knife and demanding prescription medication.

The two attendants handed over the medication before the men ran from the shop.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident.

One of the men was described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, about 173cm tall, slim build and aged in his mid 20s. He was wearing a black cap, black and green jacket with two silver stripes, grey pants with red stripes on the legs, a blue t-shirt and white runners.

The other man was described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, about 183cm tall, medium build, aged between 20 and 25, and he had straight brown hair covering his ears. He was wearing a full brim black hat with yellow stripes, dark pants and white runners.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Coffs Harbour police station or Crime Stoppers.
