A Gold Coast grandfather who was savagely bashed, says he wants to help his attackers.
Ron Johnson, a Salvation army volunteer, was bashed and robbed in his car at Fingal Head last week.
“They then grabbed me arms and legs and dragged me out and started punching me and through me on the ground and started kicking me. I bear no grudge against them, they’re just unfortunate they are living this lifestyle.”
Police are still searching for four men.

Would be interested to hear more about this. My 15yo was attacked in the toilets at fingal head on 14/12/2013. A 40-45 yo male accused my son of taking something from his bag – it was not made clear what was supposedly taken – when my son said he had not taken anything this man told him to drop his shorts, then put him in a head lock when my son refused. (in toilets, hmm, unclear whether this loser has anger management issues or sexual predator issues…..)
I don’t feel as forgiving as the grandfather in the article above.
