Yesterday’s freak storm brought about much needed rain, but for the Lismore Memorial Baths it was all too much.
The local pool office and the RSL Sub-branch has been forced to shut their doors after significant damage.
Which caused some damage to the ceilings inside our main building andf caused a bit of collapse. Down in our main plant room as well we had some inundation down there and two of our heating pumps got some water damage as well.”
Rapid response from SES and emergency services limited the damage.
The pool will re-open on Saturday.
