The Gold Coast Suns have kicked off their pre-season, with a two kilometre time trial at Metricon Stadium.
Defender Jeremy Taylor won the time trial, but the other boys weren’t too far behind.
“We’re thinking about 10 to 15 percent this year might mean training 15 to 20 per cent longer…maybe we do things that are more intense..so overall hat work will be in that range… be higher than last year.”
Some of Suns have already left for their annual pre-season training camp in Arizona.
“We all know each other well now, all been together for a while, there’s no new faces which is, that can be good for a group. But for us we’ve got a bit of continuity now, bit of stability.”
The majority of the squad will head to the US next week.
