More than 100 talented young rugby league players will be competing for one of 40 spots in the CRL’s Greater Northern Academy in Tamworth tomorrow.
It is the largest number of participants the trials have ever seen.
Players from the New England North West and from the Upper Hunter are eligible.
The program will seek to improve talented 15 and 16 year olds, in the hope of preparing them for future representative honours.
Matches tomorrow kick off at 2:15 at Scully Park.
