Port Macquarie tourism industry has been given a boost, with nine attractions named as finalists in the New South Wales Tourism Awards.
The Food and Wine festival and Tastings on Hastings has made the list, as well as The Glasshouse Entertainment Centre, Bago Vineyards and Telegraph Retreat Luxury Cottages.
“We have fantastic local tourist attractions, we’ve got some people doing a terrific job on behalf of tourism here locally, it’s great when people are rewarded and it’s great when people are recognised.”
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Sydney at the end of November.
