A male motorist has been seriously injured in a head on collision with a B- double north of Iluka.
The accident occurred at about five o’clock this morning on the Pacific Highway, near Jackybulbin.
The injured man was trapped in his car for about an hour before being flown to Gold Coast hospital with head and pelvic injuries.
The truck driver was not injured.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
