For the past year, students of Tacking Point Public School have been interacting with children on the other side of the world online, leaning about Asian culture.
Today, they were given the chance to meet their new friends in person, with the South Korean students visiting Port Macquarie.

I completely agree with Kylie Reynold’s comments. My daughter has been fortunate to have Karen Jones for the past two years and as a mother I feel truly blessed. She brings out the best in each child and offers them such a rich and interesting curriculum each day. My child has been involved with the Korean video link for the past two years and we enjoy hearing about it each week. Having the Koreans visit our school has opened our children’s eyes to a wider world, and a culture different to our own. Thank you Mrs Jones!
