WEATHER UPDATE: SUNSHINE AHEAD

The cloud along the coast is breaking up, the winds are easing and the rain is clearing as the latest east coast low moves away from SE QLD and the Northern Rivers after dumping 150mm causing the Wilson River to reach minor flood levels.

Warmer drier air is building across central Australia and is headed for NW, Hunter and MNC in the coming days. Nights will be cold with fog patches inland and frost about on the higher ground.

There is going to be some cloud lingering across northern NSW and SE QLD but conditions will remain mostly fine despite the showers in the forecast.
