LOCAL KNOWLEDGE TAKES OUT WOMEN’S LONGBOARD TITLE

Port Macquarie’s Jen Arnold made use of her local knowledge to take out the open women’s state longboard title at Bonny Hills over the weekend.

While Sapphire Beach’s Jared Neal took out the men’s, ahead of Byron Bay’s Steve Mills and local surfer Darren O’Rafferty.

Surfers were blessed with a good sized swell over the five-day event, with many pulling out near perfect rides.
