Perth Central has taken the crown in the National Little League Championships at Tallebudgerra.
Twenty teams from across Australia battled in the pitch over five days for the title.
Local teams, Far North Coast and Gold Coast had to settle for 15th and 17th place respectively.
The winners, gaining automatic qualification to represent Australia in the World Series in the US.
“That is fully funded by little league internation so a great opportunity for these kids to travel to the US and test themsleves against the best baseball players in the world .”
It’s a big step up from local games – the World Series is broadcast to 45 million viewers.
