BLUESFEST RAKES IN THE MONEY
The Byron Shire economy was one of the strongest performers at this year’s Bluesfest celebrations.
An economic impact statement released by event organisers revealed the festival deposited more than $28-million into the shire.
The 2013 event also raked in the cash for non profit organisations, with a whopping $120,000 raised by Bluesfest charity stalls.
More than 93,000 revellers attended the five day easter music extravaganza.
