Round Two of the Ocean Raw IRB Surf Series at North Burleigh ended in pain for a Sunshine Coast competitor.
The 20-year-old suffered broken toes, after his boat flipped in trying conditions.
“These are the sorts of conditions that they quite possibly will be doing rescues and that in during summer so the IRB competitions there to enhance their skills.”
Round One at Bribie Island was called off due to a strong sweep.
