WEATHER UPDATE: CHANGE OF SEASON

Yesterday’s southerly change was the first significant shift towards Autumn. Colder drier air moved in behind the change clearing the humidity that has been with us all year.

The dry SW winds will now shift to the SE and that will push the shower activity back on to coast.

The large long lasting swell from ex Cyclone Sandra has taken it’s toll on the coast line with extensive erosion.

The good news is the showers won’t last all week. Warm NW winds will develop mid week making for a fine second half into the weekend when the next change is due.
The fine, dry predominantly sunny trend for the NW will continue.
