SILVER FOR HUNTER SPORTS HIGH IN THE BILL TURNER TROPHY

Hunter Sports High put up a brave fight in the Bill Turner Trophy grand final, but still went down 4-2 to Pymble Ladies College.
The Sydney school led one-nil at halftime, and it wasn’t long before the visitors made it two.
Hunter hit back as Tia Cook nudged one home from close range.
Piper Richards was only on for a few seconds before she earned the home side a penalty.
The spot kick was saved, but Ellie Jones made it two-all from the rebound.
The teams weren’t deadlocked for long, as Olivia Carolan and Emily Bastow combined to put Pymble back in front.
Bastow then teed up Sarah Hunter to hand to the title to the Sydney-siders.
