FLOOD WATCH FOR MANNING VALLEY

The State Emergency Service has issued a flood watch for the Manning Valley.

A low pressure trough and associated cold front is predicted to bring widespread showers and storm activity to some parts of New South Wales.

The heaviest rainfall is expected to fall in the Manning Valley tonight, with a 75 per cent chance of local flash flooding and the potential for minor flooding to occur.

Farmers are advised to monitor the weather closely.
