There’s been a tragic epilogue to a police pursuit and subsequent crash near Newcastle on Boxing Day, with the death of a 40-year-old motorbike rider overnight.
He’d been fighting for his life in hospital for eight days… a critical incident team will now investigate the events leading up to the crash.
