  1. Good interview by NBN reporter asking relevant questions about CSG mining at Fullerton Cove. Pity that Energy Minister didn’t take the time to speak to residents of the area whose quality of life will be severely affected by the multiple threats posed by CSG mining in their backyard if Dart Energy receives permission to go ahead with such reckless mining activity in such an environmentally sensitive area where water aquifers are at significant risk of contamination. Also recent independent university research gives clear indications of air pollution in CSG mining areas. Why was Dart Energy even allowed a licence to mine in the area in the first place?
Congratulations to the people of Fullerton Cove who have had to take legal action to protect their community. Is it not the task of our elected representatives to protect their communities from such risky operations such as CSG mining?
Hope to see more of Nat Wallace bringing such environmentally important issues to the viewing audience of NBN.

  2. Well done Natt , you have done your homework on the issues of coal seam gas mining in our sensitve area of Fullerton Cove and as a result your interview with the minister was focused on the risk to our water. It was a huge step to hear the minister admit he would protect our aquifer system over coal seam gas . Keep up the good work .

  3. It is good to see that they people of Fullerton cove have stood together to try and stop dart energy from destroying there local environment. its a shame it has taken this to get a response from Chris Hatcher. Minister Hartcher has clearly shown that he only cares for the profit of large mining corporations and not for the people of NSW, from his approval of CSG to his involvement in the downsizing of the environmental defenders office, and his assessment of uranium exploration licencing in this state. He is a true environmental terrorist.
I feel for the people from different social demographics whose land is also being raped by mining companies but don’t get a chance to have there voice heard
