WEATHER UPDATE: A COOL WEEKEND

The rain band that has delivered moderate falls to much of central and eastern Australia will now make its way across the border into SE QLD.

Showers and storms will linger across NE NSW during Saturday especially in the morning. A gusty southerly is going to make its way up the coast also triggering showers while helping to keep temperatures down.

Humidity levels have risen and it will remain sticky across the weekend.

By Sunday most of the shower activity and the rain band will have cleared so it will be the better of the two days for most especially in the south.

Offshore boating and rock fishing isn’t recommended due to the strengthening southerly winds and increased swell.

The new swell is on the way for surfers but the protected southern corners will be your only hope.
