Safety concerns have prompted the Byron Shire Council, to close Wilsons Creek Road for up to six weeks thanks to ongoing problems caused by a landslip in January
That means vehicles over the weight of three tonnes will be restricted, including the local school bus.
Immediate remediation work has been approved, while council says a permanent solution is still being considered by the Fisheries Department.
