Those wanting a break from watching the pros on the Gold Coast 600 track had the chance to watch experts on the sand at Surfers Paradise this weekend.
Queensland’s best Beach Volleyballers battled it out in round two of the state championship, with some big names taking part in the action.
“Olympian Mat Gridlobs was playing in the event yesterday, along with Dan Kerry we had a Swede and also a Kiwi.”
Athletes have another three rounds to go before the season final in Surfers in March.
