A Gold Coast butcher has narrowly avoided jail, after a midnight attack on the glitter strip.
In August, 23 year old Beau Hill got into a fight outside a nightclub, and repeatedly punched a man in the face.
His victim needed 20 stitches, after he was left bleeding from the cheek and ear.
Hill was handed a two year suspended sentence.
