  1. Your story is only half correct. Sue Reguson won the 2 day – 36 hole event. However, she and her mother did not win the 18 hole 4some event on Wednesday. Marilyn Druitt from Ballina and Val Davidson from Tenterfield won the 18 hole 4somes Championships with the lowest score of 84 off the stick. Sue Reguson and her mother had 89 off the stick.
I suppose your apology and correct report would be too much to request.

  2. Hi Marilyn

I apologise for any confusion. It was reported that Sue and Jean won the ‘Division 1 4somes’ as per the information supplied by the organisers.

I understand that yourself and Val won the 4some Championship, which I was told was a different event.

    Regards

  3. Great win! Not many women get a chance to play golf with their mother or daughter, but to win a event like is special. 🙂
