London-bound triathlete, Emma Moffatt says, a repeat of Australia’s amazing two-medal haul in Beijing is unlikely in London.
The two-time world champion was typically coy about her chances in the games.
“I’m looking forward to going away on Sunday and I’m excited for that to go over to Europe and have a bit of Summer before the Olympics and yeah I’m probably more excited about finishing the race and just being able to relax and go and enjoy all the other events.”
Unlike many of her contemporaries, who chose to attend popular pre-Games training camps in France and South Africa “Moffy” opted for a “homegrown” preparation.
It’s just over a fortnight until the Olympics.
