FOURTH PERSON CHARGED OVER OFFICER’S DEATH

A fourth person has been charged in relation to the murder of Tamworth policeman David Rixon.
Monica Sampson faced Parramatta Local Court today, charged with being an accessory after the fact of murder, and hindering a police investigation.
The 29-year-old was refused bail, to face Tamworth Local Court in August.
Senior Constable Rixon was shot in March after pulling over a vehicle in West Tamworth.
Michael Alan Jacobs has already been charged with murder, while mother and son duo Sharon and James Strudwick have been charged with being accessories after the fact.
