A dog’s been brought back from the brink of death, following a house fire in Taree this morning.
A neighbour noticed the house alight just after six o’clock and woke the family of four inside.
When fire crews arrived they found the family pet hiding in the bathroom.
“They found the dog which was what appeared to be lifeless. We bought it out and put it on oxygen and brought it back to life so a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dull day.”
